so the company i work for is looking to hire a new assistant and we keep getting these semi-decent resumes. of course, the natural next step is to look these people up on myspace. well, we're learning thats probably not the best way to go since clearly we judge and don't give these b-list potentials a chance.
i guess what im trying to say is: you never know who is looking at your myspace page - so keep it cool and take those fugly, cheesy pics down if you wanna get hired. for reals, i bet other companies do this too.
ugh - where are all the normal people??!!!! my boss just wants someone nice, cool, funny, hip. all we've gotten is wierd, trashy, cheesy and plain boooorrrriinnng.
we'll find who we're looking for - but maybe we'll just stop stalking them pre-interview and see how they can redeem themselves from their probably lame-o resumes.
